Nasi Briyani
Nasi Briyani is a set of rice-based foods made with spices, rice (usually basmati) , meat, fish ,egg or vegetables. The name is derived from the Persian, which means "fried" or "roasted".Nasi Briyani was brought to the Indian Subcontinent by Muslim travelers and merchants. Local variants of this dish are not only popular in South Asia but also in Arabia and various Indian communities in Western countries.

The Pasembor available in Singapore is an assortment of potatoes, eggs, bean curd (Tofu), and prawns fried in batter, served with a sweet and spicy chili sauce.
